Sephora Ergo Handle Sponge
Hello and welcome to my latest review!
I want to share some of my latest purchases. I recently went on a little shopping-spree at Sephora. Last week, I wrote a review on their Pearl Masks. You can read it here.
Today, I am going to write a review, on the Sephora Ergo Handle Sponge. It's designed to give a smooth application of foundation aswell as the huge perk of not ending up with foundation fingers. No one likes to see your fingerprints on their walls, furniture or in my case, my husbands brand new car.
The sponge is removable, making it easy to just buy a new sponge, instead of an entirely new handle. The sponge is wedged with straight edges, to make it easy to apply all over your face and neck with precision.
The sponge is anti-bacterial treated and after use, you simply wash it with hot water and soap. This will ensure that your skin won't break out from using it. The texture is soft, yet firm, making it easy and comfortable to use, especially if you have a tendency to suffer from dry and irritated skin.
So, how good is it? The photo above, I've taken right after applying my foundation. I'll say I'm impressed at how well blended it is. I do recommend to dab it on, instead of swiping, to avoid any cakey finish and streaks. It was very easy to reach all areas of my face, including around the eyes.
After use, I cleaned it using hot water and soap as described on the package. It's very easy to clean and most importantly, I didn't get any foundation fingers during the whole process! I'll definetely be using this, when I apply my makeup.
The Handle Sponge is a brand new product from Sephora, retailing for 19 AED - which is around 8 dollars. For now, it's only available at your local Sephora store. That means I can't provide you with a link. I've searched and searched online for it, but without success. I'll keep looking and add a link, as soon as it's available online.
If you're into shopping online (like me) here's a link to Sephora's beauty page where you can browse some of their other tools for foundation application. I personally love the Beauty Blender Collection. Check it out here.
If you're wondering what foundation I'm using, it's The MAC Pro Longwear foundation, available here.
I swear by MAC Cosmetics, as I find they are high in quality. The foundation provides full coverage but I still feel like my skin can breath and it doesn't break out.
