SEPHORA Pearl Mask

SEPHORA Pearl Mask

Today I want to write a little review on the Sephora Pearl Eye mask aswell as the Pearl Full Face Mask. As I've written about before, I'm in the middle of a big move - from one country to another. That means that currently I'm living in a hotel apartment, with only as many items as I could fit in my suitcase.

This situation has been going on for about a month now. Luckily, I'm one of those people, that save all the mini products from hotels, around the world. Don't worry, I've read somewhere that they actually want you to take them. Having those items, with their names on, is aparently a great way to advertise - But lay of their hairdryers! They will bill you for that....

Mini-products have saved my skin this past month!

Mini-products have saved my skin this past month!

Moving from a very cold place on earth to a very hot one, has left my skin in a state of crisis. It's dried out and become very irritable. Almost as if I could feel it wasn't able to breath. So.. It was time for a quick trip to Sephora.

They have a huge selection of different masks and cremes, for various skin types. I purchased the Pearl Eye Mask & the Pearl Face Mask. Mostly because it's pink and hydrating.

I started with the eye mask. It contains two fiber patches, that you simply place under the eye area. On the back you'll find instructions on how to properly apply them.

I started by making sure my face was clean. I used a makeup-remover and my BodyShop face wash. Then I applied the patches under both my eyes, and set the timer to 15 minutes, perfect amount of time, to prepare a hot bath! They are very easy to put on and seems to fit very well. I kinda look like an albino panda, but anything for beauty, right?

While wearing them, they felt very soothing. They are for hydration and even skin tone, so I suspected that they might feel harsh on the skin. They didn't! Very positive, if you ask me. The under eye area, has the thindest layer of skin. It's crusial to protect it, and not apply heaver cremes, og any kind of chemicals. When the 15 minutes had past, I simply removed the patches, and gently massaged the product onto the skin, for a few minutes. Do not remove the product afterwards. Simply let it soak into the skin.

I'll say, I was quite happy with the results after only one use. My under eye area already looked fresher and felt really soft! Afterwards, I went on to using the full face pearl mask.

It's the same concept as the first one. except for your entire face. It wasn't as easy to apply, because it's literally a full face mask. You fold it out, strip the pink paper away, and apply the white patch over your face.  I started from the forhead, and worked my way down. It's easy to adjust, which is a good thing! I found the eye area to be a little tricky, but I wasn't too worried, as I'd just used the previous mask.

While wearing it, I recomment staying indoors. It does a very good job of making you feel beautiful afterwards.. Not so much during. I did, however, appreciate the Hannibal Lector look!

Same as the other, you wear it for 15 minutes, peel it of, and massage the product into your skin and let it sit.

My final thoughts on these are that they are worth the cost. I really love the result and they did indeed hydrate my skin. Normally when I get dry skin, I have to do a few facials before it gets better, but with these, it was enough, just the one time. I will be buying these again!

They are available in all Sephora stores. I spend 70 AED on the full face mask (about 20 dollars) - But they are a bit cheaper online. You can order them using the link below:
